This is really important topic for Turkey and Albania. The gap between poorer and richer people and regions increased during the economic crisis. As mentioned in the book, equal or unequal society affects some important points and these points mostly determine life quality, even rich people.
I think It should be one of the most important issue for the goverment because the book shows us the effects of unequal society by statistical numbers and maybe for that reason it is the beginning step to solve some important problems. I know it is really difficult to change this and it takes for a long time but I think firstly there should be minimum life standards which provide by the goverment for example health care system or unemployment insurance. Everybody deserves basic human needs such as eat, to have education, to be healthy… This can be just starter to change unequal society problems and then there is a long way...
This step can be beginning part of change of trust, some illnesses rate, drug usage, education level, crime rate, development of country etc. and as a result it can change the future.

I share the same opinion with you Burcin, governments should concentrate more in minimizing the gap between poor and rich people. How they can pretend development in technology and others if there are still people who are striving for the basic needs?
