The future agenda program have focused not only in the global technology, but also the human part, the environment, the economy, the Asian currency as the third global currency, the urban life, the open access, the public transport in China. It shows about the water and energy resources that will condense in the next decade, the global decisions to produce food and in which countries and homogeneous identities.
In my opinion it is a very interesting book given that it is explaining the major problems the world will face in the future and consecutively to take further steps for avoiding or mitigating them.

We can use the datas for our business to make some decisions or deciding some investments or for some entrepreneurship. Also you mentioned future world problems. We should take into consideration of these problems. We shouldn't ignore them while caring about ourselves.
Hi I agree with Burcin that we can use the trends mentioned on this book to guide us through business and investment decisions but i would like to add that it is useful to life decisions as well. In the book we see great cities being the trend and at the same time people like to be connected and enjoy normal simple things of life.
