Future Agenda / What I learned from this course

What I learned/confirmed during the time of this course:

1-My thoughts aren’t necessarily the most rational/accurate ones. Some of them are irrational in a predictable way.

2-My behaviors rooting from these thoughts are a product of the ways I saw the events/phenomena a.k.a. WORLD (As people see the world so they behave). If the thoughts aren’t accurate the behaviors can’t be the best possible ones.

3- In order to change the behavior you need to change the way you see the world. The best way IMO is by real-life role models. If you can’t find them in real life….. thanks God there’s internet (TED).

4- The ways to see the world presented in this course are VERY GOOD but not the best. Mentioning people about the the algorithms of being successful is the same as pushing them to eat chocolate. It is sweet in the beginning but in the long time perspective……diabetes/teeth problem in the case of chocolate. Demoralization/ depression in case this success isn’t achieved.

5- In the libraries nowadays we have mainly two larger sections. The first is books about “YOU CAN DO IT, ANYTHING’S ACHIEVABLE, HOW TO BE RICH, X THINGS ONE SHOULD DO TO BE SUCCESSFUL etc.” and the second “HOW TO COPE WITH FAILURE AND LOW SELF ESTEEM, ”. You think they are correlated? I think the second is merely a repercussion when the first isn’t achieved. Why is the second section large? Because the number of the failures is large.

6- Nowadays, becoming among the richest of the planet, is almost as difficult as it was in the past centuries to rise among the highest classes of aristocracy. However it is made to feel easy by the media and magazines that if u got talent, skills, A GARAGE you can achieve something. There are many data who comply with this finding. If you trust the data in “Predictably Irrational” you should trust this too.

8- You miss one hundred percent of the chances you never take

9- My FUTURE AGENDA is to stick with 8, keeping in mind as much as possible the previous 7 ones.
