We always say that we are able to control our own behaviors, even when we make a decision to buy one product or another we perceive that as our own decision by making some calculations and we think smart. We see two or three product or services and we decide to buy one, at the end we believe that we have based our judgment on objective thinking, we hardly think that the way to our decision was already shaped and we just were one of thousand walkers. We base our choice based on the relative advantage that one thing has over another in a special offer. What is causing our irrational behavior is the runway light that the market is placing on either side of us, guiding us to follow the shaped path.
While the word ‘FREE” has the power to mesmerize us humans. It makes us curious, grabs our attention. If we just read the word Free of a specific product in a shop it will be the first gossip that we are going to do with our friends, by talking for this shop to them. Even if we did not have time to go in the shop, we will do our best to find time to go there. It does not matter who we are and what is our social position, when something is free it resembles like a gift as the slang says “Even the King wants the gifts”. When we pay the full price of it we carefully check all our demands and think it twice but when something free in addition is added we do not think it twice.
I agee with the "free" point. It's true that we collect things that maybe are needles to us just for the fact that they are free.
YanıtlaSilOf course that the "free effect" is irresistible but in some cases we behave rationally toward this effect. We have an albanian proverb " Edhe nese ma falin nuk e dua" .The meaning is that even something is given to me as a gift I don't want it at all because it's not worth for me.

YanıtlaSilthe diversity and dynamism of the 21'st century's world are against the priciple of being predictable and having things under control. So the best way to be always on top is to be flexible and to take into consideration the fact that we cannot predict things but we can ADOPT OURSELVES WITH THE INNOVATIONS TO MAKE FAIR DECISIONS.
