Every company is thinking from time to time how the worker can increase their performance , the authors identified on ch8 seven specific commitments , these are very important :
Commitment 1: Get Out of the Stands
If we still speak or discusses in stands about the field we couldn’t wait any kind of performance.
Commitment 2: Create a New Game
Stagnant water will not move unless we threw a stone in the water , everybody knows his capability and we can creat our game , and here authors give another example that you can play golf not only football
Commitment 3: Make the Obstacles - Conditions of the Game
In any game , any work there are main conditions so don’t try to change every thing because you couldn't do it .
Commitment 4: Share Your Insights
The main idea here if you share some experience with others it will come back to you because this idea will be as a value in the society , so when we share our experience we are going to increase our performance ,It is simple but is not necessary to be easy ,
everyone is learning and working together to achieve what once looked impossible.
Commitment 5: Find the Right Coaching
To find the concrete coaching in field isn't in stands , we have to select the right coaching who give advices to increase our performance in our work ,In a critical moment the role of coaching very important to become winner he , and his team
Commitment 6: Start Filing Your Past in Your Past
As I understand in this point if we have bad idea in the past we have to leave it before we enter to the future , if we had a method to solve some of our problem and challenge in the past , we have to find new way to solve it , because we can't anticipate anything for the future or the future for us is nothing from performance way
Commitment 7: Play the Game as If Your Life
For that we have to training , coaching , thinking for the short way to reach to our goal , to be our game or our work like our life
I found the 7 commitments to be very useful reminders Mr. Karam.
YanıtlaSilThe penultimate one is the most subtle and the most ignored commitment in my opinion. Yet I think individuals need to focus more on that. The past can be considered as the trampoline to the present and future events. If it isn't arranged properly one might lose inertia and momentum while dealing with present and future.

Sometimes we forget how to use our past. We hang out past and we start to waste time and decrease our motivation. Past is past and we should take benefit from our experiences as more as possible.
There is one quote of Nietzsche which I like;
"what doesn't kill me makes me stronger"

YanıtlaSilThank you for the very fascinating post. I think that all the commitments are really important to follow in our daily life. I was attracted more from the fourth one to share your insights. In our daily job we face very often that people resist to share the information they have with the others especially with the youngest colleagues and I never understood why. Maybe they think that this make them feel more important or maybe there is other reason.
