Firstly,how do we define the elegance? Something is elegant if it is two things at once:unusually simple and surprisingly powerful.One witout the other leaves you short of elegant. Sometimes the “ unusual simplicity” isn’t about what’s there, it’s about what is not. At first glance, elegant things sem to be missing something.
The point of elegance is to achieve the maximum impact with the minimum input. It’s a thoughtful, artful subtractive process focused on doing more and better with less. That’s especially important during economic crisis when everyone is trying to move forward while consuming fewer resources.
In business and normal life time, resources and conditions are limited.So we must do best things by stopping something in our lives and using the resources effectively.Firstly our ideas and projects must be very simple and everybody is able to understand it.
There are 4 aspects of elegance: The fırst aspect is symetry.In the nature generally everything has symetry.The having symetry feature in our nature, give us the power to complete the missing parts.Seduction shows and focuses the person to find a solution to a problem because your power of imagination, interpretation increases .Subtraction improves the quality, cost and speed of delivery to market place. Sustainability provides the possibility for lasting value. Sustainibility must be repeatable and lasting. During these aspects person must be unusual, subtracting the traditional methods, cruositive and using details.
The author presents very clear the formula of elegance, "unusually simple and surprisingly powerful". People generally have the idea that something can succeed when it is complicated.
