To describe the difficulties of changing mind I would like to share with you the example of Mr. Jack Kevorkian, and Armenian-American doctor. He killed via physician-assisted suicide with over 130 terminal patients, in desperate cases, with their will. Known as Dr. Death, Mr. Kevorkian always defended the idea that dying is not a crime but a right for the terminal patients. Despite he was sentenced for second degree murder and suffered 8 years in jail, he never gave up his unique idea of ‘DYING SERVICE’ and ‘the death is mercy for the helpless patients’. This guy believed in this new implementation because he had a very bad experience with his mother. He was a doctor but he couldn't save his mother, suffering helpless disease. He couldn't bear the idea of keeping in life helpless patients and extending the period of suffers for both, patients and their relatives.
best regards...
