when i listen to the explanation of this book in the classroom ,it was a surprise for me because all my life i didn't think for a moment that there are relation between equity of GDP/person and all this Different aspects of particular social phenomena like
Life expecting - Health and social problem - Child well-being - Level of trust - Prevalence of mental illness - Drug using - Infant mortality rates - Adults - obese - Educational score - Dropping of high school - Teenager birth rates between 15-19 years - Pregnancy rates for teenager between 15-19 years - Homicide rates - Children experience more conflict - Imprisonment -The rate of co2 in the air - Innovation and societies
but in other hand i think we should research to see what are the reason for inequality in diferent societies , i think we have some reasons like , traditions , construction of law , to save the rights of main percentage of people in countries .
Karam it was really an impressive book. I liked it to. Your observations are right although I would have proffered a different approach perhaps more direct.

YanıtlaSilI think there are a lot of reason and unfortunately common ground of all reasons is created by greedy human. If we are reason, also we can be solution. I totally agree with you we should research to find the reasons.

YanıtlaSilI think, solution is easy and clear. If we only remember the Happy time of the society ruled by the Prophet Muhammad(pbuh)when there was no inequity we can learn the reasons and solutions to many questions.
