Howard Gardner interprets the ways of the change mind like levers and I completely agree with him about the seven levers.
Which lever(s) we will use to change minds? Which one is the more effective than others? I think we cannot say or not focus to one of them. According to the case, conditions and people, whom you want to change mind, it is changing. Also the sources that we have are important point to decide the way of changing minds. For that reason to analyze the situation and then to have a strategy is the first step of changing minds. I mean we have to decide our way .
We need to know characteristic of people such as personalities, abilities, social life, position, conditions because I think it is not possible to apply same method to different people and different cases.

We don't always look for the ways to change our lives.Actually Burcin is right but not 100 percent because sometimes some circumstances force us be changed unconscionably even if we don't want.If we are conscious we can analyse and develop a strategy. One case, one situation, one point of view not planned can change our decisions.
YanıtlaSilTanks for your comment İsmail. I agree with you that sometimes circumstances force us. But what about if these circumstances are created by someone, if it is the strategy of someone's to change mind? ;)
YanıtlaSilFor some issues you are right. There are some exceptions in our lifes.
Burcin.
Hello Burcin
YanıtlaSilTo change someones mind is a difficult process that requires some special ways in approaching and persuading.Yes it is true the ways we apply should be according the person his way of thinking and the cause we are talking.
There are different ways to influence the process of shifting someones mind in the way we want.Remember that we don't change our minds overnight, it happens in gradual stages that can be powerfully influenced along the way.
