IN PURSUIT OF ELEGANCE - WHY BEST IDEAS HAVE SOMETHING MISSING

Each philosophy and written laws, is compiled by philosopher and law makers too, in order to develop the way of thinking and keep the human being under control. As a result, this will help humanity goes towards a perfect elegance style of life. In addition in this book there is mentioned that the four elements of 1. Symmetry 2. Seduction 3. Subtraction 4. Sustainability give a great contribution in this aspect.
In fact there is a rosen question: -Why best ideas have something missing?
According to me the answer is, the idea is something that is processed from human mind, and as far as it works like this, an idea is not divine but human and as a result it may be in error or create chances for abusiveness.
If we take an analysis over the philosopher's lives will notice that they werent enough loyal and sustainable to their sayings and writings intended to find the perfect standards for the society. The fact is that when it comes to personal interest, people who obey the law are almost none.

Predictably Irrational

The author turns our attention to some important things in human behavior which is often irrational and at the same time predictable. The book contains very nice experiments that the author has performed with his student introducing in this way new ideas regarding behavior very simply and in a sticky way. There are many conclusions from these experiments and among them is that people do not always make choices that are in their own interest. Some of these result from people having incorrect theories about the world. For instance, there are various "pop probability theories" that are incorrect and will lead people who follow them to lose lots of money. However, ignorance is not irrationality, and given their incorrect beliefs, these individuals perform exactly as predicted by the rational actor model. The good thing in this material lies in the fact that every few pages you find yourself smiling because you too have behaved in the irrational manner being described, and now that you look back on it, it's hard to remember why. It's a hard book to put down, and it's both entertaining and interesting from start to finish. For those who are curious about the world, this might be the last minute purchase at an airport bookshop ahead of a long flight where limited brain power is required.

WHAT GOT YOU HERE WONT GET YOU THERE

Human nature is very strange through its entire process of life. Nobody in the world cant find some one or a friend to be static in his character because as the time passes, due to different circumstances human nature may change in positive or negative perspective. By the way we do have also some experiences of this type. Some of us may have had a friend in the past who know have broke up their friendship because of ordinary reasons. Any of the reasons are listed in the book by the author for sure have caused any disappointment towards our emotional feelings. This list containing the following bad habits like:
1. Winning too much 2. Adding too much value 3. Passing judgment 4. Making destructive comments 5. Starting with ‘no,’ ‘but’ or ‘however 6. Telling the world how smart you are 7. Speaking when angry 8. Negativity, or ‘Let me explain why that won’t work’ 9. ‘Withholding information 10. ‘Failing to give proper recognition 11. Claiming credit that 12. Making excuses 13. Clinging to the past 14. Playing favorites 15. Refusing to express regret 16. Not listening 17. Failing to express gratitude 18. Punishing the messenger 19. Passing the buck 20. An excessive need to be ‘me’’
once are applied from a person is going to see himself inside an arrogant transformation. The bad point is that when reached at this level will be very difficult to understand yourself you are doing wrong, more over even advices for self corrections will be hard as well to accept. Indeed these ill people because their eyes are blind due to what they have achieved, can not notice how much they are disgusted from the society. In general this category of these people become aware of their action when they have been boycot and left alone by others.

In Pursuit Of Elegance

One thing I found brilliant about the book is that it doesn't offer specific steps to follow. This is not a "go and do" kind of book. What is NOT in the book is what makes this powerful (and elegant). May provides many case examples with different perspectives of elegant thinking without telling the reader what to make of them. After reading chapters, I found myself applying the thinking to my own situations. Powerful stuff started popping in my head based on the principles I learned about in the book. This is a highly interactive book if you plan to daydream a little bit after you read it.

BOOK 1: Changing Minds

During 21 century  the world is changing very fast with us  however  we  are  afraid many times  to change  because  chancing means our behaviour , behaviour means  about 20 years  or more   of our habits
One of the most difficult things to change is our behaviours or our selves. This book reminded me the ability to change behaviour. Which factors are most effective in our behaviour? We can find may different  points .I think  one of the most important factor is  environment ,  I want to give an example:  if you use a big spoon ,  you’ll eat  a more .If you serve  yourself  in a big  plate , you’ll eat  more .If  you  move the small  bowl  of chocolates  on your desk  six feet away,  you’ll eat  as much as half. So don’t fight to change your behaviour in the midst of the wrong   environment, so sometimes just change the environment.
There is a lot of advice out there about how to change yourself,  or improve yourself ,your life and your lot, but in the glut of self help advice what exactly do you need to do to change your life for the better?   When we give the answer for this question I think we start to change

Book 2 :In Pursuit of Elegance: Why the Best Ideas Have Something Missing (Matthew E. May)

Quantum physics says the outcome depends on the observer. If our perspective of the world becomes accepting instead of competitive, then the outcome will change. I try to see the best in people while I accept that we're all human beings and act on the wrong assumptions sometimes.

Open your heart to the Universe and it will fill it with wisdom. We can change the world for the better by accepting that each person is a part of a whole, just like a cell is part of our body. If cells don't function to their best, the body gets sick. the same way, if we don't choose to be the best that we can be in each moment, our society and ultimately our world gets sick

Predictable Irrational

This book is primarily focussed on behavioural economics, but I would argue that it would be of interest to a far wider group of readers. We are all decisionmakers and our decisions impact on others. I believe that many of us with a specific interest in public policy or management, in marketing, or in human behaviour more generally would find value in reading this book. While many of the concepts are profound, the subject matter is presented in a readable and entertaining way.
